Terms & Conditions
Last updated: May 28, 2026
These Terms & Conditions ('Terms') govern your access to and use of Equity Ladder and our website at equityladder.app (together, the 'Services'). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
In these Terms, 'we', 'us', and 'our' refer to Equity Ladder. 'You' refers to the person using the Services.
Who we are
Equity Ladder is operated from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and the operator of Equity Ladder. We will update this section with our full company details once our company is formally registered.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Your account
To use most features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Notify us promptly at hello@equityladder.app if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
What Equity Ladder does
Equity Ladder is a net worth tracking tool for Australian investors. It lets you record and consolidate your assets and liabilities — including property, shares, ETFs, cryptocurrency, superannuation, and cash — into a single dashboard, with tools to visualise your position over time and explore illustrative projections.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. Where we display live market prices for assets such as shares or cryptocurrency, those figures are sourced from third-party providers and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate.
Projections & illustrative figures
Equity Ladder may show projections, growth assumptions, milestone comparisons, and illustrative figures — for example, an indication of what an amount of money could possibly go towards, or a projection of how your net worth might grow over time based on assumptions you provide.
These figures are general illustrations only. They are intended to help you visualise possibilities — what your money could potentially do — and are not predictions, guarantees, or promises of any particular outcome. Actual results will differ. Comparisons to averages or benchmarks are approximate and based on publicly available data that may not reflect your individual circumstances.
Equity Ladder does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and nothing in the Services should be taken as such. The Services do not take into account your personal objectives, financial situation, or needs. Before making any financial decision, you should consider obtaining advice from a licensed professional.
Subscriptions & billing
Equity Ladder offers a free tier and may offer paid subscription plans ('Premium'). Pricing and the features included in each plan are described within the Services and may change from time to time.
Where paid plans are offered, payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not store your full card details. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. You may cancel at any time, and your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
Unless required by Australian Consumer Law, payments are generally non-refundable for periods already started. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not excluded, restricted, or modified by these Terms.
This section will be reviewed and updated when our payment integration goes live, including specific details of pricing, trials, renewals, cancellation, and refunds.
